Thanks for taking the time to check out my site and some of my work.

I've always had a very strong creative side. As a kid growing up in Waterford, Michigan, I was always drawing something. By the time I hit my teens my main interest was in drawing cars. Growing up in a "GM family", I was sure that someday I would work for one of the "big three" in Detroit desiging cars, but when it came time to go to college, fate intervened and as much as it disappointed me, I had to accept that it was not to be so.

I did end up working in the auto industry, working in Project Management for prototype builds in the Jeep division of Chrysler. It was challenging and interesting work that I found I was good at, and it kept me close to a product I have great interest in and affection for. However, there was still that creative side of me... and as time went by I realized that I wanted to make my talent more of a focus in my life. I started attending College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan in 2005 to start preparing for a new vocation that would let me use my creative talent in a professional way. As it turned out, this was a good move because in November 2008, after 11 years Chrysler laid me off due to the economic downturn.

I graduated CCS in the summer of 2008 with a 4.0 GPA. My focus of study was computer graphics for both web and print publications, and I earned certification from CCS in both these pursuits. I have found that I have a strong talent for Adobe Photoshop image retouching and compositing and have so far focused my skill development in that area.

I am currently available to do freelance work, but my ultimate goal is to pursue a full time career in digital graphics for web and print in an environment that will challenge me and help me to grow further. Prints, and further examples of my artwork are available in my profile on deviantart.com.
